Have you ever thought how nice would be having your pet, together with the man of your life, to keep you company on the wedding day? The cat that shared your best moments with you, and spent entire nights at the foot of your bed while you were sleeping tight?Or, the dog you need to thank for meeting up with the boy at the park?
Well, dear friends ..... now is possible!
In a small town on the outskirts of Lucca, Montecarlo, the council has ruled that couples who wish to come along with their "best animal friends" during the civil ceremony, from today, are allow to do so. The officer in charge will also  issue a token of the presence of your dog, cat, ferret or hamster complete with attached photograph and the simultaneous recognition in a special register of  the  eternal  friendship. The book 'Animals of the family' - the first in Italy - will be put online and will contain photos of the wedding, registration and news.
According to the mayor, Vittorio Fantozzi, is a way to give more value to the special bond that exists between humans and their pets, and fulfill the desire of those who want to share with"the special friend" this special event.

Lili Wedding rome thinks that is a nice idea for those who consider their pets as "one" of the family.
